When a patient is merged into another, the original patient is deleted. The original patient's medical record will need to be recreated. The medical records associated to the patient are unable to be restored by Support and would need to be manually transferred from the patient they were merged into.
Using Patient A who was merged into Patient B as an example, follow the steps below:
1. Recreate Patient A's medical record under the same owner as Patient B.
2. From Patient B's medical record, select the option to relocate records. Select the Destination Patient as Patient A and select the records that need to be relocated. Once selected use the move records button to relocate.
3. Navigate to Patient A's general information tab and expand the general information. Select to change ownership and add the correct owner of Patient A and remove the owner of Patient B.
