- Go to Menu > Settings > Practice Setup > Document Templates.
- Locate the Payment History/Receipt template and click on the Edit pencil.
- This will open the General Information for the Payment History/Receipt.
- Place the cursor in the document body at the location to you'd like to display the future appointment.
- Select the merge field from the drop-down for Patient Future Visits.
- The merge field %patientappts% will appear where your cursor is placed.
- Click Save.
NOTE: To update this the employee must have a role that has access to the gear icon and the employee right to modify document templates.
