This article contains a summary of the additions and improvements made to Pulse for the month of July 2024.

Billing
When "Covetrus Payment Processing (WorldPay Integrated Solution)" is enabled, a new "Display detailed receipts in invoice" option, when enabled, will display all detailed receipt data in Invoice > Payment section. When disabled, detailed receipt data will be hidden in the payment section of the invoice, except for card and amount paid, surcharge paid, total paid and the last four digits of credit card.
Enterprise
Added the following fields to the Update Options when bulk editing Inventory:
- Allow Price Change
- Cost (Increase/Decrease by amount) *
- Exclude from Percentage Discount
- Exclude from Production Calculations
- Hide on Invoice
- Make Active/Inactive
- Price (increase/decrease by amount) *
- Service Fee (set value, increase/decrease by amount) *
- Tax Level *

Exam/History Forms (updated version)
- Images can be dragged and dropped into the notes section of an exam form from an external source.
- Added an "autosave check" message in Exam Forms to ensure the saving process completes before navigating away to another page.
- Added the patient D.O.B. to the patient signalment, next to the patient age.
- Added a restriction, when inserting an image into the rich text editor (Notes) field, to be able to change the 'Image Title'.
- Added the "Follow Up" tile to the Highlights tab to display the list of follow-ups that exist for the selected patient.
Inventory
- Added the ability to increase or decrease the service fee by an amount when using the Update Options when bulk editing Inventory.
- When an inventory item is inactive or deleted, the ability to refill a patient's prescription created from this item will now display a warning and no longer allow the prescription to be refilled.
- When updating expiration dates for vaccines in Inventory Management, historical vaccines on the vaccine log will no longer be retroactively updated when the prompt for vaccine lot number and expiration is disabled.
Labs
- National Bio Vet Laboratory (NBVL) has changed names and is now called Greywind Partner Lab Integration. This name change will appear under Integration on the Menu and under Practice Setup > General > Integration Settings.
- Fixed the display of Integrated Lab Item controls when only Enable In House Lab Integration is enabled for a practice.
- Resolved an issue when lab treatment items that had lab results relocated to another patient, the lab results are now being relocated correctly.
Task Dashboard
- When using the Action "Copy to Communication Log" in the Tasks Dashboard, the user will be able to save from the Insert/Edit Image dialog box.
- Fixed the Insert/Edit Image modal save capability and displaying behind the "Copy to Communication Log" sidebar when the browser/page is minimized in Tasks Dashboard.
- Fixed the issue with duplicate tasks being created when a task is added from the Whiteboard, tab through required fields, and click "Save and Add Another".
- When adding or editing a task and the description (rich text editor) is maximized by selecting the full-screen icon in the toolbar, the rich text editor expands in full-screen mode.
- An image is displayed and the Create Task button when the Incomplete or Completed task list is in an empty state. Scenarios include when practice has no incomplete or completed tasks or no task results based on a user's applied filters.
Whiteboard
- An Add Task enhancement was added to the Whiteboard which provides the ability to add a task. When added, tasks will display in the Tasks Dashboard and applicable patient and client pages.
- When viewing unread comments in the Whiteboard and the page is refreshed or the user leaves the page, read comments will not revert back to unread comments.
- An image is displayed when the Whiteboard is in an empty state. The image will display when no visits are displayed based on a user's applied filters or visits have not been added to the Whiteboard by a practice.
Improvements
- The Exam drop-down list will display and be ordered by the correct service date.
- Resolved the issue storing debit cards for Practices with WorldPay triPOS cloud integration enabled.
- The TAB key will navigate through the Add Task sidebar as expected on the Whiteboard.
- Resolved issue when certain phone numbers that are valid show an incorrect format message.
- Resolved an error from displaying when practices are enabling the QuickBooks Online Integration.
- Resolved the issue where employees were able to remove treatment items from patient's records when the employee right to remove items was not enabled.
- When a Rabies vaccine is removed from a practice's package and the package is added to a patient's treatments, the prompt to add a Rabies tag will display correctly.
