BEFORE YOU BEGIN, ensure your practice has been enabled for the Greywind beta by contacting Melissa Deep (melissa.deep@covetrus.com) or Joshua Brenner (joshua.brenner@covetrus.com) and your Greywind partner rep. Once we've confirmed your practice has been added to the beta list, the following instructions can help you get set up with your new Greywind partner integration!
1. Enable Integration
Open the left hand navigation menu and navigate to Settings > Practice Setup > General.
Click "Integration Settings" to unfold the integration settings menu. Make sure "Enable Greywind Partner Integration *" is checked, then make sure to click "Save" at the bottom of the page.
2. Configure Integration Settings
Opening the left menu again, navigate to Settings > Integration. Select "Greywind Partner Setup"
If this is the first time using the new Greywind partner integration, you'll want to click the "Add integration" button in the top right.
Select "Greywind" from the vendor dropdown menu and fill in your ClinicID, username, and password. Select the appropriate partner lab from the "Greywind Partner" dropdown menu.
Click "save"
NOTE: If your credentials are authorized, the "Status" column should show as "Active." If your status shows as "Invalid," please contact your Greywind partner rep, as there is an issue with your credentials.
3. Set Up Order Code and Provider Mappings
To edit code or provider mappings, click the action menu icon () to access the action menu, then select Edit Mappings.
This will take you to the mapping setup page. There are two tabs, one for Providers and one for Order Codes.
On either tab, click the pencil icon under the "Edit" column to make edits, then click the 'x' or checkmark () to cancel or confirm changes.
4. Set Up Your Pulse Breed/Species Mapping
Pulse has a new way of handling breed and species mapping so that you'll only need to set up mappings once! With the new Pulse integration, you'll be mapping your clinic's breed and species list to Pulse's breed and species list, with Pulse taking care of the mapping to each individual lab vendor. We call this "Master Breed" and "Master Species."
To set up your mapping, navigate to Settings > Practice Setup > Patient Classification
To add a new species, click the + icon. To map your existing species, click the pencil icon
This will open the Edit Species flyout.
Here you can map your species to a Pulse Master Species, as well as select an appropriate icon. Click 'Save'
To map a Breed to a Species, select the species you'd like to map from the upper left dropdown
With the species selected, you'll see your list of available breeds ('Name'), as well as the Pulse breeds they're mapped to ('Master Breed Name').
To map an unmapped breed, click the pencil icon under 'Actions' to open the Breed Mapping flyout.
Here you can map your selected breed to a Pulse Master Breed. Click 'Save' and you're done! This breed will now be mapped for every integrated lab partner.
You can also map breed and species on the fly when placing an order, if not already mapped. You'll be prompted to set up the missing mappings before proceeding with placing the order.
