Data is stored on your device by websites you visit such a cache and cookies. They serve various purposes. However, you might want to delete cookies for privacy reasons or to resolve browsing issues. Below are steps to clear this data when closing out of the browser entirely (all browser windows) or when restarting your computer for the Edge and Chrome browsers.
Note: Only with the Edge browser can you choose what to clear.
The Chrome browser setting does not remove browsing or download history and will also log you out of any Google accounts that you may be signed into. It is recommended to either use the edge browser or NOT clear on close if signed into a Google chrome account.
