Send Referral Emails

The ability to send mass email communications to referral hospitals and doctors, via the Referral System page, has been added to the program. To enable the Referral System:

1. Click on Menu > Settings > Practice Setup > General.
2. Expand the Miscellaneous Settings group.
3. Check the box Enable Referral System.
   
4. Click Save.
5. After the screen refreshes, click on Menu > Settings > Medical Setup > Patient Referral System.
6. From the Referral System Management screen, expand Hospitals and/or Doctors.
   
7. Click the links to Add Referral Hospital and Add Referral Doctor.

To send an email to the referral hospitals or referral doctors:

1. Click on the link for Send Referral Email To Hospitals or Send Referral Email to Doctors.
   
   
2. From the Referral Hospitals or Referral Doctors drop-down list, select the hospitals or doctors in the list to send the email to.
3. Select the Email Template.
4. Enter the Subject of the email.
5. In the notes area, type the message of the email.
6. Select attachments, if necessary.
7. Click Send.
