The ability to send mass email communications to referral hospitals and doctors, via the Referral System page, has been added to the program. To enable the Referral System:
- Click on Menu > Settings > Practice Setup > General.
- Expand the Miscellaneous Settings group.
- Check the box Enable Referral System.
- Click Save.
- After the screen refreshes, click on Menu > Settings > Medical Setup > Patient Referral System.
- From the Referral System Management screen, expand Hospitals and/or Doctors.
- Click the links to Add Referral Hospital and Add Referral Doctor.
To send an email to the referral hospitals or referral doctors:
- Click on the link for Send Referral Email To Hospitals or Send Referral Email to Doctors.
- From the Referral Hospitals or Referral Doctors drop-down list, select the hospitals or doctors in the list to send the email to.
- Select the Email Template.
- Enter the Subject of the email.
- In the notes area, type the message of the email.
- Select attachments, if necessary.
- Click Send.
