With the Covetrus Ordering Integration, it is possible for users to receive in their orders into the system from Covetrus North America.
How the Covetrus Ordering System Works
- You must have an account with Covetrus North America.
- Place your order with Covetrus as you normally would: phone, fax, online, or directly with your Covetrus sales rep.
- Regardless of how the orders are placed, the orders will appear under the Inventory screen. A link will appear labeled "Covetrus Ordering".
- When the order arrives at the practice, go to Covetrus Ordering and click the link for the order number.
- Proceed to Start Receiving the items in from the order.
Setup
To take advantage of the Covetrus Ordering Integration, the practice must have an account setup with Covetrus North America (Distribution). With an account established, the account information must be entered into the Covetrus North America Account Setup located under General Settings. Contact Support for assistance with the setup.

Placing Orders
Place orders using whatever method has worked best for you in the past. Call in the order using the toll free number for Covetrus North America, call your Covetrus sales rep, fax in your order, or place the order online. With the integration, you may now add items from your Want List directly to your Covetrus shopping cart.

Viewing Covetrus Orders
When you have the integration setup for the Covetrus Ordering System, you will be able to view your Covetrus orders when you open the Covetrus Ordering screen.

Receiving Covetrus Orders
When the items ordered arrive at the practice, it is with a click of a button you can receive the orders into your eVetPractice database. Your inventory quantity on hand will get updated and if there was any cost change from Covetrus, you will have the opportunity to accept the new cost or keep the existing cost as it is.
