What is Vet Rocket RocketPACS?
RocketPACS is a product offered by Vet Rocket designed to offer a secure, cloud-based solution for storing, viewing, sharing and managing DICOM exams. This integration allows you to automatically submit an order (study) based on a procedure code from your system. This saves you and your staff valuable time by skipping the client/patient entry in both systems and reduces the chance for missed charges. Imaging study can be viewed from eVet without having to log in to both.

Features
- View your medical images from within Pulse™ on any device
- Direct email function to send images to clients or specialists
- RocketPACS securely stores your medical images on the cloud and lets you access them anywhere
How it Works
After a DICOM integrated service is added, an order is created through RocketPACS. RocketPACS communicates with your onsite imaging system (X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, etc.).
When using your onsite machine (i.e. x-ray), search for the order by accession number, patient name or client name and process like normal.
The study is sent up to RocketPACS for storage. At that point, the study in RocketPACS is linked to the patient's EMR. You can view the study at any time.
The study is not downloaded (as a DICOM Image), everything stays in the RocketPACS cloud system. If you need to email/print study, you can do so from the RocketPACS system through the viewer loaded in the EMR.
