Quick Links are customizable, touch-friendly buttons, giving you and your team quick access to frequently used features from the medical record.
By default, you will have access to the top 20 features*. The first 10 are visible, while the next 10 are hidden and expandable. The rest of the features are not displayed. *Based on tracking of all practices.
- To access hidden Quick Links, click on the expand arrow .
- To hide them again, simply click on the collapse arrow .
Customizing Quick Links
- To customize Quick Links, click Settings > Practice Setup > General and expand Medical Record Settings section.
- Click the Customize button next to the Quick Links settings.
- A Preview dialog will open containing three columns: Visible, Hidden, and Don't Show.
- Use your mouse to drag and drop Quick Link buttons to Visible, Hidden, or Don't Show column. You will be able to see the results of your change instantly from the Preview area.
- Each link placed in the Visible column will be automatically visible on the medical record.
- Each link placed in the Hidden column will be initially hidden on the medical record but can be expanded into view.
- Each link placed in the Don’t Show column will not be accessible from the medical record.
- Click Save to save your changes

Below is a breakdown of each Quick Link and how you can use it in the patient's visit workflow.
Patient Information
- Enter Weight: Record the patient’s weight.
- Reason for Visit: Document the primary reason for the patient’s visit.
- History Form: Create and fill out the patient’s medical history form.
- Add Historical Vaccination: Enter past vaccination records.
- Add Lab History: Record previous lab results.
Examination and Diagnosis
- Exam: Initiate and document the physical examination.
- Add Medical Note: Add notes from the medical examination.
- Diagnoses: Record the diagnosis based on the examination and tests.
- Anesthetic Monitoring: Monitor and record anesthesia details during procedures.
Treatment and Planning
- Treatment: Create a new treatment plan by adding items for the patient.
- Create Rx: Launch the vRxPro integration to generate an online prescription.
- Plan: Develop a comprehensive care plan.
- Estimate: Generate a new estimate for the treatment plan.
Documentation and Communication
- Generate Patient Document: Use templates to create documents related to the patient’s care.
- Upload File: Upload relevant files to the patient’s medical record.
- Add Communication: Log communications with the client.
- Email Client: Send an email to the client.
- Email Rabies Certificate: Email the rabies certificate to the client. Note: This option will not display if a Rabies certificate has not been generated for the patient prior.
- Print Rabies Certificate: Print the rabies certificate. Note: This option will not display if a Rabies Certificate has not been generated for the patient prior.
- Vaccination Log: View, manage, and share a log of the patient’s vaccinations.
Scheduling and Invoicing
- Schedule Appointment: Navigate to the calendar for visit creation.
- Quick Invoicing: Add treatments generated on an invoice for the visit.
- Check Out: Complete the checkout process by updating the visit status and receiving payment for the treatments (invoice).
Printing and Labels
- Print Cage Card (PDF): Download a cage card in PDF format. Note: This option will not display if a visit is not scheduled for the patient.
- Print Cage Card (DYMO): Directly print a cage card using a DYMO printer. Note: This option will not display if a visit is not scheduled for the patient.

- Print Patient Label (PDF): Download a patient label in PDF format.
- Print Patient Label (DYMO): Directly print a patient label using a DYMO printer.
