Adding Balance on Account/Carried Over Balances manually from your current system or if you are paper heavy, use the following steps:
- Go to the Patient Record.
- Add the line item of "Carried over Balance".
- Change the Price* (under Quantity) to the amount of the balance the client owes.
- (Optional) Add Comments for the balance and “Include on Invoice” for the client.
- (Optional) Change “service date” to reflect in the medical record when the balance was created in current system or within paper records.
