Question: How do I check that the eVetPractice FileWatcher application is running?
The FileWatcher should be installed on the same computer where the IDEXX Interlink application is installed.
Go to the date and time on your Windows computer which resides on the taskbar far right corner at the bottom. If you do not see the icon there next to the date and time. click on the "Show Hidden Icons" arrow ( ^ ) which is the windows tray. Check to see if the icon is displayed there. The icon has a white background with a navy cat and dog on it. If you see the icon you can right mouse click on it and select "Restore" to have it display on the Windows desktop.
If you do not see the icon for the application running you would need to launch it. Go to the Windows Search on your computer and just start typing "eVet" and the application will be listed. Click on it to launch it. It will then show up in the windows tray on your computer. If it does not open on the Windows desktop, you can click on the icon and click on restore which will open the application for you to see.
