To prevent prescription refills from being added to production:
1. Edit the Inventory Item > select edit details for the "Is Dispensable?" setting.
2. Enable the setting "Exclude production when refilling" > Save.
To make sure it does not get added to a provider's production, the original prescription must have refills available and be refilled from the patient's prescription history tab. If the item is added to the patient as a new treatment/invoice item, production will be given to the provider on the item.
