Pop-up error shows in browser after staff login update

Problem: An error message is displayed when the browser is set to block pop-ups. The error may look different depending on the browser type (Chrome, Firefox, Edge).

Solution:  The browser settings have an option to disable the pop-up blocker or specific exceptions can be made for the following websites:

• login.evetpractice.com
• auth.covetrus.com
• *.evetpractice.com

Chrome^®

Take the following steps to disable pop-up blockers and/or add exceptions:

1. Click the Chrome menu button.
   Note: The button is on the upper-right of the browser and is indicated by three dots.
2. Select Settings
3. Under Security and Privacy, click Site Settings.
4. Click Pop-ups and redirects.
5. Click Sites can send pop-ups and use redirects
6. Close and relaunch Chrome or add exceptions following steps below.
7. To add site exceptions: Click ADD next to Allowed to send pop-ups or use redirects and enter the sites listed below. Repeat for each website.
   • login.evetpractice.com
   • auth.covetrus.com
8. Click ADD 
9. Close and re-launch Chrome

Firefox^®

Take the following steps to disable pop-up blockers and/or add exceptions:

1. Click the menu button (three bars) in the upper-right corner.
2. Click Settings
3. Select Privacy & Security on the left.
4. Scroll down to Permissions
5. Uncheck Block pop-up windows to disable the pop-up blocker.
6. Close and relaunch Firefox or add exceptions following steps below.
7. Click Exceptions next to Block pop-up windows under the Permissions section.
8. Enter the following websites into the Address of website field: 
   • login.evetpractice.com
   • auth.covetrus.com
9. Click Allow. Repeat for each website. 
10. Click Save Changes.
11. Close the Options tab and the browser and re-launch Firefox. 

Microsoft Edge^®

Take the following steps to disable pop-up blockers and/or add exceptions: 

1. Click the menu button.
   Note: The button is on the upper-right of the browser and is indicated by three dots.
2. Select Settings  
3. Select Cookies and site permissions.
4. Select Pop-ups and redirects.
5. Move the Block (recommended) toggle to off or add exceptions following steps below.
6. Under Allow Click Add.
7. Enter the following websites into the Add a Site field: 
   • login.evetpractice.com
   • auth.covetrus.com
8. Click Add. Repeat for each website. 
9. Close and re-launch Edge. 

Safari^®

Take the following steps to disable pop-up blockers and/or add exceptions: 

1. Click the Safari menu.
2. Select Preferences from the drop-down.
3. Click Websites.
4. Click Pop-up Windows located on the left side.
5. Click the drop-down next to Lexis and select Allow.
6. Close and reopen Safari or add exceptions following steps below.
7. Visit the website you would like to allow:
   • login.evetpractice.com
   • auth.covetrus.com
8. Select Safari > Preferences.
9. Select Websites at the top of the window.
10. Select Pop-up Windows on the left side.
11. The website should be listed where you can select one of the following in the drop-down menu:
    • Select Allow in the drop-down menu
